Responsible for the following systems: Inventory Control, Back Order, Automatic Material Requisitions and Transfers, Master Scheduling and Data Collection. Designed on-line inventory control, on-line back order and two on-line automatic material requisition and transfer systems (AMRT and CMRT), wrote the system and programming specifications and directed the teams which performed the programming and installation. Additional job responsibilities included evaluation of software packages, the administrative duties association with the position of supervisor, documentation of new systems, and the training of users of new systems.
Project leader for the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Status Reporting System which included design, writing specifications, programming, implementation and daily operation. Responsible for the MRP Availability Rolldown and Allocation System.
Responsible for the Order Control New Assembly Reporting System and
the Fabrication Status Reporting System. Programmer for several systems
including Order Control, MRP, and Manufacturing Assembly Parts List (MAPL).
Member of programming team which installed an IBM 370/158 Virtual System
in El Segundo.
