Aloha!

I am now in my 20th year as a professor at California State University, Long Beach. I started teaching in Fall 1992, after completing my Ph.D. in Information and Computer Science with a specialty in Computer Networking at the University of California, Irvine.

This site contains information about the classes I teach (primarily networking, modeling and simulation) for the Department of Computer Engineering and Computer Science. It also provides a summary of my research interests and current projects. Some of my favorite outside interests and passions are included as well.
