Academic Credit
Each participating University has the option to provide participating students with elective units of academic credit in their major. During the Summer University @ The Beach, students will be evaluated via assignments, projects, and exams in every course. These evaluations will be used to determine a letter grade at your home institution.
For CSULB, students can sign up for CECS 497 in Fall of 2011 with Dr. Monge as the instructor. To earn a letter grade and the units of elective credit, in addition to the assessment collected from all instructors, students may be asked to share their experiences in the Fall semester via a presentation and/or a written report.
CSULB graduate students may be able to earn credit towards their MSCS degree by participating in this program -- please check with Dr. Monge and with your graduate advisor.
